Jennie and Matt’s pre-wedding shoot took place on the hottest day of the year last month…well, the hottest evening for us as it was an evening shoot this time around. It was so hot, that I even wore shorts! I wouldn’t usually subject anyone to my pale, white legs, and certainly wouldn’t do it for a wedding of course, but it had to be done just once. I’m not sure how I’d cope being a wedding photographer in the Bermuda heat (where we used to live, and where Colin is from) although it would be nice to try, if anyone wants to hire us! 😉
Jennie and Matt are marrying this weekend at the tiny church in Eldroth, not too far from Settle. We photographed a wedding there last year and it was standing room only–Jennie and Matt have a larger number of guests so it’ll be interesting to see what happens for this one. The reception afterwards will be held in a marquee at Jenny’s mum’s home, also in Eldroth. Our first ‘backyard’ wedding–can’t wait!
Here are a few images from their shoot, taken around Skipton town centre. I love taking photographs here, not just because it’s where we live, but there are so many great little spots to use and we see something different every time we have a wander.
*UPDATE* You can now view Jennie & Matt’s wedding in Eldroth here.
