Cathy and Matt married in September at St Michael and All Angels Church, Linton, before hosting their reception at Barden Tower in the Yorkshire Dales (with a quick stop off in Burnsall, between the two venues, for a few photos!)
Colin joined Cathy at her family home for a few photos before setting off for the ceremony, and I headed on to the church to join Matt, who arrived shortly afterwards in a Fell Rescue vehicle! Both Cathy and Matt are keen fell runners/cyclists and as a surprise for Matt, Cathy had organised a vintage tandem bicycle to be at the church waiting…so of course he and his best man had to have a ride whilst they were waiting!
I loved Cathy’s bright sunflower theme which went right through from the flowers and decor at the church, to the marquee at Barden Tower. Plus an amazing sunflower cake, and lots of cupcakes which Cathy’s mum had spent many hours decorating. They looked fantastic (and tasted great too…Cathy insisted we take one away with us and I never say no to cake!)
