I’d like to think we’re pretty familiar with a lot of local wedding venues but until last month I’m ashamed to say we had never heard of this wonderful place…and how amazing does it look? This is the Out Barn at Clough Bottom Farm, a relatively new wedding venue in Bashall Eaves near Clitheroe.
The Out Barn itself is a stunning modern building (a barn conversion) and certainly unique to anything else we’ve seen. It’s set in a beautiful rural location with stunning views towards Pendle Hill and can be booked exclusively for your wedding. It can accommodate approximately 120 for a seated wedding breakfast, or more for an informal buffet and there are endless opportunities for your wedding photos!
There’s also lots of space outside around the barn which is also perfect for a marquee-style wedding and the venue has its own wedding coordinator to help you plan your day.
Viewing is exclusively by appointment only or by attending one of their wedding open days, one of which we were kindly invited to exhibit at last month. We couldn’t help but take some photos to show off this stunning venue, and we were also asked to take photos of some of the couples in attendance which was fun and a little bit different from the usual open days and fairs we’ve attended.
Bay Camper Weddings were on hand with their fantastic matching VW camper van and beetle.
The views are amazing with the stunning floor to ceiling windows and so much light pouring in.
Music provided by fantastic acoustic duo, The Remedy. Anyone who covers a Tom Baxter song (and does it well) is ace in our book! Hannah has a beautiful voice.
I’m really not a camping girl myself (in case you hadn’t figured it out, it’s Heather writing this, not Colin!) but oh my, if I had to do it, I’d be doing it in one of these beauties! I was gobsmacked when I walked inside both of the Big Chief Tipis on display. One had a lounge/chill out area and the other was a full on bedroom decorated so sumptuously I could’ve fallen into that bed and disappeared for the rest of the day (that could also partially be due to the lack of sleep our pup has been giving us lately!) They were both so warm and comfy though. Glorious!
All I can say is, we hope to be back here soon to photograph a wedding. A fantastic location with a truly beautiful venue in the Out Barn.
