Sarah and Michael chose Oakwell Hall for their pre-wedding shoot last September. Sarah was one of the most organised brides I’ve ever met, but that didn’t stop she and Michael from being a little bit nervous about the shoot.
But not to worry, that’s what we’re here for! We had a chat and a catch up on their wedding plans in the tea room before heading off for a wander. Oakwell Hall is surrounded by acres of countryside, plus there’s a nature trail and woodland, so there are plenty of photo opportunities. There are also pretty gardens around the hall itself. You can even get married here, in case you were looking for ideas!
By the end of the shoot, I think we had Sarah and Michael feeling a little more positive about having their photograph taken! They married at Oulton Hall in Leeds in October (look out for their wedding on the blog soon).
I know that despite their nerves on the day of the pre-wedding shoot, they were super relaxed and ready for their bride and groom portrait session on the wedding day. This is, of course, the advantage of having a pre-wedding shoot. It gives you the confidence to know exactly what to expect on the big day, and you can enjoy it that much more!
But before I can share some of the wedding photos with you, here are just a few of our favourite photos from their pre-wedding shoot.
