“WOW – the photos are just amazing!!!!! Thank you to you and Colin so much! I can’t explain how amazing it was to watch them back. You have captured every single emotion and detail and even some we forgot about! Thank you so much! We love them!”
Stasi & Lewis
Stasi’s sister, Emma, was my maid of honour when Colin and I got married in 2008. So we were truly excited, and honoured, to be asked to photograph Stasi’s wedding, which took place back in August. Emma was now going to be her sister’s maid of honour and as they all live in Essex, it was road trip time for us! We honestly love photographing weddings anywhere, so we’re more than happy to go wherever anyone would like us (and maybe someone could invite us to their Lake Como wedding next?)
On the morning of the wedding, I dropped Colin off with Stasi and the girls, and headed off to Lewis and the boys. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from our lovely Essex boys but I couldn’t have been made more welcome and it was one of the most enjoyable mornings I’ve had this year, so thank you boys!
Layer Marney Tower is a Tudor palace in the Essex countryside near Colchester and when I drove up the long driveway I was suitably impressed. It’s such a beautiful building, and in superb grounds; a really perfect location for a wedding.
I loved Stasi’s choice of colours and the wedding’s travel and beach theme (look out for the cute shark cake topper which came all the way from Florida – Stasi loves sharks!)
Here are a few of our photos from the day, and many congratulations again to a truly gorgeous couple – now get working on your friends to get married so we can come and do it all over again!
