“It was such an amazing day, thank you so much for being there, you were both so brilliant and I can’t thank you enough.” Emily
It really was an amazing day…and the one thing that struck me about Emily and Jimmi’s wedding was the genuine love and affection their two families have, for both them and eachother – it seems like the perfect match all round!
Colin started the day off with Emily at her parents’ farmhouse in Litton, whilst I headed over to Jimmi and his family in Conistone, before we met up at St Oswald’s Church in Arncliffe for the ceremony…
First thing was first at Jimmi’s…we headed off to retrieve his classic mini which was to be the wedding transport for the bride and groom from the church to the reception at Kettlewell Village Hall later on. Jimmi gave me a spin in it on the way back to the house just to remind me what being in a mini was like (Colin used to have one and yes, that suspension was just as bumpy as I remembered!)
Love Jimmi’s ‘no going back now’ face here!
Then it was time for a few bride and groom portraits near the church before heading off to Kettlewell.
When the sun finally appeared in the evening, it was perfect timing to whisk Emily and Jimmi out for a few more shots around Kettlewell in the gorgeous summer light.
We had a blast photographing Emily and Jimmi’s big day and we’re now in the process of designing a fab super-sized album for them to show off their story (which is hard work as there are so many images to choose from…this is only a very small selection!)
Congratulations again Mr and Mrs W!
