As Falcon Manor wedding photographers, we’ve now photographed at this stunning venue in every season, and it always has something special to offer.
Ben and Amy were our first wedding of the 2019 season, and in February, we were expecting a full on winter wedding–maybe even a little snow? Little did we know, it would be one of the warmest spells of February weather in history! Now, here we are in April and it’s colder today than it was then. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for something that feels a bit more like spring.

It was a beautiful day for Ben and Amy. I started the day off with Ben, who was getting ready at home with his best man, whilst Colin headed straight to Falcon Manor to capture Amy with her family and bridesmaids.
Then it was off to the parish church of Holy Ascension for the ceremony, just a couple of minutes away in Settle.
A drinks reception followed back at Falcon Manor, with plenty of time for photographs in the warm sunshine.
Ben and Amy were an absolute pleasure to work with, right from our first meeting, through to their pre-wedding shoot in Baildon (with Derek the mini schnauzer!) and on the wedding day itself.
There were lots of lovely details at this wedding; my favourites being the buttonholes, knitted by Ben’s grandma, as well as the cute knitted cake toppers of Ben, Amy and Derek. I also loved the gorgeous centrepieces which were made using a variety of pretty gin bottles (any excuse to drink more gin is a good one in my book!)
What did Ben & Amy say about us?
“Thank you and Colin for everything you have done for us. You made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera even though Amy and I got nervous and broke down in laughter or silliness. We have looked at the photos and they look fantastic…thank you so much for sending them through so quickly and for both being so great with us on the day.”
